Douglass K. Daniel and Jennifer Loven, two liberal writers for the Associated Press and who cheerfully sparred with decency during their recent stint as Obituary columnists, ironically had their own souls die a gruesome death -- though it may take them time to notice -- after AP published their column Jul 12, 2008 on the passing of Tony Snow
Their epitaph reads:
F REE YOUR BODY AND SOUL
U NFOLD YOUR POWERFUL WINGS
C LIMB UP THE HIGHEST MOUNTAINS
K ICK YOUR FEET UP IN THE AIR
Y OU MAY NOW LIVE FOREVER
O R RETURN TO THIS EARTH
U NLESS YOU FEEL GOOD WHERE YOU ARE!
So, here we go again... The winners of today's "Bird Award" goes to the dearly departed Daniel and Loven.
I give you...
